Alasis has over 10 years’ experience in leading mentorship, education and youth justice programs, developing outreach and community engagement strategies, and advocating for the equitable social participation of racialized communities. Dedicated to the principals of Positive Youth Development, he has held various roles within the social services sector, including employment counselling, housing and shelter support worker, youth programs coordinator and settlement counsellor. Alasis currently holds a diploma as Social Service Worker and is working towards completing his BA in Social Work at Ryerson.
